We have put together a special edition of TarMag just for you guys! So here it is! A full review including what we done, and meet the teams! They have just announced their August tour dates so check it out www.rebelrun.co.uk

February 2010 Issue

To start with we had Christmas, new year, 2 foot of snow, Autosport International show and that’s all happened in the space of 2 weeks. We have been ultra busy here at TarMag over the past 6-8 weeks and again we had to take measures and decide to launch the new year 2010 with a February issue. Rather than a January due to time scales. In this month’s issue we check out the Autosport International Show for 2010 which was a great weekend in cold Birmingham. Luckily the snow we had days before held off and we were able to travel safely.

We have our usual news section and this month’s must haves which include a waterless car wash? It truly works! We hope to publish soon this year’s events diary. We have got a few events planed of our own and of course attending the big major events. If you are having an event or even have a car or product you wish us to feature then do get in touch with our editor :

Also if you are into your ATV’s/ Quads and everything off road be sure to check out Traction Action ( www.tractionaction.co.uk ) it’s another magazine we launched 2 months due to the growing demand in that industry. It’s similar to TarMag, it’s a Free online magazine so be sure to check it out.

June 2009 Issue

June see’s us review Lamborghini’s Latest LP560-4 Spyder for a Sunny Rush hour drive. Nothing is better than driving a convertible on the motorway whilst watching the cars disappear in the multimedia display.

But if you think that’s fun, try taking a Polaris RZR-S buggy around the streets of Edinburgh, boy do you get some from the rear view camera.strange looks. McDonalds drive thru’s are harder than you think, especially since the RZR-S is Left hand drive.

Falkirk Cruise was enjoyed in nice weather along with our first time at E.K cruise. We even managed to attend the EDC Drifting round up at Knockhill Racing Circuit. So be sure to enjoy this issue!

May 2009 Issue

Our May issue see’s one of the greatest races of all time. The Ford Focus RS 2009 model vs the GoFast! Jet Pack Man. With over 1million views worldwide so far, the race has been a great help to our magazine. The race took place up at Knockhills Scottish Motor Fair for 2009 which was a great jam packed weekend including a great live show from Paul Swift in the Fiesta’s.

We even attend Banzai’s Magazines day up at Crail Race-way which was packed with some of Scotland’s top JAP cars. Our Friend Craig from the Sunny Scottish Borders took his car to the event, parked it up on our stand, and within minutes he had won Car of the Day.

We even check out Skoda’s latest offering on the Superb, and it really is Superb, it parks itself! So Just click below to view this latest instalment of TarMag.

April 2009 Issue

April 2009 see’s the Launch of the Fast and Furious movie and we have got the UK online Exclusive of it, including interviews with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. We even have Full spec lists on the cars from the movie so be sure to check it out!

Proton send us a Satria for a week, a great sporty car, fast, and cheap! The Mitsubishi Sportback was also road tested this month but we would probably stick with the EVO if we were wanting a Sporty car from Mitsubishi.

We check out Car Care direct, and attend a bike show? But the most fun we had this month was up at Knockhill Racing Circuit where we were invited to go on their Skid Pan to learn a few things about skids and breaking, its rather interesting to be honest!

March 2009 Issue

With the Summer weather slowly coming we thought it would be a great time to let the Subaru Impreza WRX STI come out to play on some of Scotland’s Roads. And boy was it fun, the 300bhp is definitely on tap when its required. Comfy, practical, loads of room, and bl**dy fast, what more can you ask for in life?

We Check out Mitsubishi’s Latest Shogun, with the Top of the Range spec including probably one of the best sound systems ive ever heard in a 4×4. We check out Peugeots 308 which is fantastic on fuel, but also looks good especially in white. We also attended an event up at Crail Race-way which was a fun packed day but a bit chilly.

February 2009 Issue

It’s not every day you get a phone call from Jaguar Press Department asking if we would like an XF for the weekend to be told its a 4.2 V8 you would definitely not say no to that. And for our first ever Jaguar, it’s one of the best cars we have ever driven here at TarMag. The Sound system along would make us buy the car along, but then would you want to hear that when you have the drone of the 4.2 V8 engine getting you from A to B rather fast but in great comfort.

Peugeot send us their 307cc which we drove down to the Autosport International 2009 show down in Birmingham. Comfy car for short journeys, not the most comfiest on the long motor ways, but roomy and great on the fuel.

We check out the Daihatsu Terios which recently featured on the BBC’s Top Gear but we don’t race it with hunting dogs. And finally we check out the latest car to roll of the production line from the newly formed MG, the TF LE500.

January 2009 Issue

This month we check out Peugeots 4007, which is based on the platform of the Mitsubishi Outlander. But with the Mitsubishi priced higher than the Peugeot, is it worth the extra money for the badge?

What’s that in my rear view mirror? Oh a Police Mitsubishi Evo-X, yeah, I’d give up now if I were you! We check out the Latest Police force to take Delivery of another Mitsubishi to their fleet.

And we attend a rather cold Knockhill X-Mas Cracker of a track day.

Decemember 2008 Issue

It’s not every day you get to drive a Lamborghini, especially a Gallardo SE, one of a Ltd Edition number of Orange cars in the UK. We had to yes! And it was a great day out.

The Subaru Forester comes to play, but a Diesel? But the best part, it keeps some of the original Subaru Sounds. You can’t really complain when its reaching 55mpg and even looks the part too.

We look at what to expect for the 2009 F1 season and even check out a rather scary fast Nissan Skyline. And finally the Mitsubishi Outlander comes to visit us, with a rear flip own TV screen to keep all the office staff happy for hours and hours and hours.

November 2008 Issue

It’s strange to think that when driving an estate car you automatically think when entering a corner to slow down a bit more because the back might kick out, well it’s the complete opposite when we had the Peugeot 4007 SW GT, an amazing bit of kit from Peugeot. So much we kept it for 2 weeks when it was only suppose to be here for a week. It drove in the heavy rain, thick snow, hail storms, and even the odd sunny day. It was so comfy, had all the mod-cons, and even preformed well.

A quick bust on Knockhill Racing Circuits Rally track proves a success with our Managing Editor, we even attended the Scotty Awards to see what the Scots voted Car of the Year whilst rocking out with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

We look at Nissans R35 GTR skyline and we play with Mitsubishi’s latest EVO-X offering.

October 2008 Issue

We love Super Cars so much that when you get to spend a day out in them, and you have seen the weather forecast to be rather wet, you still go don’t you! Well we did, and it was a great day, being rather wet ( note to self : waterproofs next time ) it was still a great day out.

Tribute meet-up for Colin McRae with thousands of Subaru’s meeting up to show their respect to the legendary rally driver. We even check out the latest offering from Project Kahn, the Cosworth Range Rover Sport.

Our southern magazine contributor attended Trax 2008, and we check out a rather clean Mitsubishi Evo.

September 2008 Issue

Premiere issue of TarMag launched in October 2008. Our first ever issue which is jam packed. You can see compared to our current issues just how much work has gone into TarMag over the past year.

We take Mitsubishi’s L200 for a ride but the biggest surprise of all, Fuel economy. We have an accident guide from the guys from ACS in Middlesbrough.

She stands out from the rest, Ling, from Lings Cars who featured on the BBC programme Dragons Den, we hook up with Ling to find out about her and what her business does.

We have a review from Dewars centre modified car show, Knockhill modified Sunday feature and a 317bhp Mazda RX-7 is our modified car of the month. And finally we looked at Strathycruise, the biggest modified and cruise community to date in the UK.
